TERRAZE

Framer/Photo Finisher

I am a perfectionist and have directed this towards my business and industry. I have a passion for the industry and began this business out of a need to fulfil a dream to enjoy going to work and to never watch the clock! Since then, I now find there is not enough hours in the day with trying to improve our services to our clients. I started my adult life as an apprentice Avionics Technician, studying and practicing on various military helicopters and civilian aircraft for the next 12 years, however it did not fulfil my artistic flair. So when I left the aviation industry to pursue the Digital and Art Display industry I did not look back. I have made it my aim to study and practice my industry in all aspects and where opportunities presented learn from industry leaders both in Australia and the US. I love my job and make sure my staff loves theirs too! (if not they are too scared not to tell me so!)

CLAIRE

Claire is a British photographer and teacher, and one of our newest members of the Arts Edge team. She graduated with a BA Hons Degree in Photography and began her career in the creative industry over 10 years ago. In the UK she ran her own studio managing all areas from marketing, sales, photography, retouching and framing. She has travelled across the UK and America training photographers and digital artists that led to her continued studies culminating in a Postgraduate Certificate in Education allowing her to teach and lecture Creative Arts and Photography in Universities, Colleges and Schools. She has since moved to Perth and continued to enhance her photographic skills photographing Art Reproduction for some of the leading Artists in Western Australia. Claire continues to strengthen her skill set in this area with regular specialist training from a National expert. 

HARRY

Digital Technician

I have been using PhotoShop since I was a child, creating unique graphic art and designing. I have been a part of Arts Edge since work experience in high school 15 years ago, and since then have grown as an artist and digital re-toucher and print technician immensely. The challenges I see daily at Arts Edge keep me interested and learning constantly. It is an exciting time to be in the print world with technology growing at a rapid rate, we keep up with it and I am honored to be working on some of the best equipment available.

DEAN

Framer

I have been picture framing since 1980, and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Since joining the team at Art’s Edge Photo & Frame, I have enjoyed the challenge of framing the variety of the client’s artwork and images. No two days are the same. A Skilled Picture Framer by trade, Dean is also a Body Building Champion having won the overall Mr WA Body-Building Championship in 2014.

RUBY

I have grown up with Arts Edge (literally). I began helping at the shop when I was very small, and have learnt from everyone here in many ways. Starting with helping cleaning up at the back of the shop I gradually grew my confidence to serving on the front counter and doing consults and pickups. I love art and draw and paint when I am not studying. I also enjoy singing and playing guitar.
